Summary:

The Barron Gorge Power Station harnesses the natural energy of the Barron River to deliver clean, renewable hydroelectric power to thousands of Queensland homes.

HK Solutions was engaged for the inspection and review of the existing ventilation systems at the Power Station, generation site and main draught tube valve station site. Works included the design of the replacement and upgrades to the existing ventilation systems to include the provision of outdoor air supply systems to each of the below ground sites. 

The works were staged to minimise disruptions to the operation of the Power station.
