Project Manager

Client-side role at an award-winning consultancy working within a down-to-earth, solutions-driven team.

Description

This role involves working across a variety of sectors including health, education, commercial, urban, civic and recreational. This role will suit an established project manager. The role will include:

• Construction phase client-side project management

• Liaison with and management of stakeholders

• Project scoping

• Procurement of consultants and contractors

• Financial management of projects

• Design management

• Design team coordination

• Contract management

• Managing relationships, dynamics and enhancing communication among project team members

Requirements

The following skills / qualifications are essential for this role:

• Suitable experience in project management in the engineering or construction fields

• Outstanding interpersonal skills

• Ability to bring a team together to achieve a combined end goal

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interstate team members

• Ability to engage clients and stakeholders and deliver outcomes

• Ability to be mobile and work short term (1-2 nights) in remote and regional locations

• Ability to provide mentoring to junior team members

• Alignment with our company values

The following skills / qualifications will be highly regarded:

• Experience in the Darwin / NT market

• CPPM or similar or desire to obtain

• Engineering / construction / project management qualifications and experience
